This versatile drink template allows you to mix and match various fruits, herbs, and spices to create a nutritious and flavorful beverage. Perfect for any time of day, this elixir helps you stay hydrated while enjoying the natural goodness of fresh ingredients.

Base Ingredients:

Liquids (Choose 1-2, 4-6 cups total):
  • Water

  • Coconut water

  • Herbal tea (e.g., green tea, chamomile, hibiscus)

  • Sparkling water

Fruits (Choose 2-3, 1-2 cups total):
  • Citrus: lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit

  • Berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries

  • Melons: watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew

  • Tropical: pineapple, mango, papaya

  • Apples, sliced

  • Pears, sliced

Herbs (Choose 1-2, 1/4 cup total):
  • Mint leaves

  • Basil leaves

  • Cilantro leaves

  • Rosemary sprigs

  • Thyme sprigs

Spices (Optional, Choose 1-2, a pinch or to taste):
  • Fresh ginger, grated or sliced

  • Fresh turmeric, grated or sliced

  • Cinnamon sticks

  • Cardamom pods

Sweeteners (Optional, Choose 1, 1-2 tablespoons or to taste):
  • Honey

  • Maple syrup

  • Agave nectar

  • Stevia drops

Additional Ingredients (Optional, Choose 1-2, 1/4-1/2 cup total):
  • Cucumber slices

  • Celery sticks

  • Aloe vera gel

  • Chia seeds (pre-soaked)

Method of Preparation:

  1. Prepare the Liquid Base:

    • In a large pitcher, combine your chosen liquids. For herbal tea, brew and cool it beforehand.

  2. Add Fruits:

    • Wash and slice or chop the chosen fruits. Add them to the pitcher.

  3. Add Herbs:

    • Wash and lightly crush the chosen herbs to release their flavors. Add them to the pitcher.

  4. Add Spices:

    • If using, add the chosen spices to the pitcher. Grated or sliced ginger and turmeric can be added directly. For cinnamon sticks or cardamom pods, you may want to crush them slightly to release more flavor.

  5. Sweeten:

    • If desired, add your chosen sweetener to the pitcher. Adjust to taste.

  6. Add Additional Ingredients:

    • Add any additional ingredients like cucumber slices, celery sticks, aloe vera gel, or pre-soaked chia seeds to the pitcher.

  7. Mix and Chill:

    • Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. For a stronger infusion, refrigerate overnight.

  8. Serve:

    • Before serving, stir the mixture again. Pour into glasses, making sure each glass gets a mix of fruits, herbs, and spices. Optionally, garnish with extra herbs or a slice of fruit.
